Welcome to our Children’s Ministry! We hope that you and your child enjoy your time spent with us! DVCC Children’s Ministry is committed ensuring a great experience to all visiting families and their children. Here is what to expect:

Welcome & Child Information

You will be welcomed by members of our Children’s Ministry Team and then be asked to complete a Child Information Form with pertinent information regarding your child, including allergies.

Check-In

Your child will be checked in with the cheerful assistance of a member of our Children’s Ministry Team and you will receive important security information.  Check-in occurs in the foyer.

Walk This Way

One of our team members will accompany you and your child to the classroom and introduce you to the teachers/ caregivers and another child in the class. It is possible that your child may cry when you leave, and our volunteers are prepared to provide the comfort your child may need.  We are confident that in time, your child will adjust and thoroughly enjoy his/her time in class. Should there be an issue, a volunteer will contact you during the worship service. Please make sure that all items staying with your child are labeled with the child's or family's name.

Check-Out

When the worship service concludes, please pick up your child promptly. You will Check-Out your child with the cheerful assistance of a member of our Children’s Ministry Team using our security system.

Follow-Up

Our Children’s Ministry Director or a member of DVCC’s office staff will follow up with you and your family through email, text message or phone call.
